garden days by,sv
Today in garden, I got to plant some plants. I also got to water some planted plants in garden time. My best firend got to help me out by taking the plants out of the contaner. I thought that that was veary helpful of her to help me out by taking the plants out of the contaner. I think that we should do some more planting in garden time!
Today at garden time we were preparing an area of our garden to be planted in. While we did so we discovered four sprouting tulips, we decided to transplant them. I dug a hole in the slope of the garden, and then dug up the sprouts. The first two times the plants came out without their bulbs, and I discovered that you have to dig really deep to get the bulbs out. I was able to succeed in transplanting the rest of the bulbs. I felt proud as I gave them a drink. I can't wait to see them bloom, beautiful and full of grace and color.

! SOIL ! SHAKES !
In school we learned about soil shakes and what they are.
It's soil that is in water and before it settles you have to shake them.In a hour or two it makes layers of soil,
water and sediments. We used three different types of soil to see the differences. The different types of layers are gravel, sand, silt and clay. It's kind of cool because organic matter floats on top.
